Gender gap in concussion research leaves female athletes struggling
80% of sports concussion research has focused on men, possibly leaving women without the care they need.

Last year, one of my papers on women's concussions was profiled on CBS with Brianna Scurry (!!!!).
TLDR version: The concussion protocols are used to treat everyone, but based about 80% on male athlete data. We need more data diversity in concussion research!

Just a reminder for those who forget just how valuable Barnes best asset - scoring goals - is to #nufc
Since start of 2023 EPL season, among all wingers & attacking midfielders Barnes has recorded a scoring contribution (goal or assist) 0.56 per-90 (3,844 minutes), 8th best.
Cole Palmer is 7th (0.57), Salah 1st 0.73.
Jacob Murphy is 5th with 0.59, Gordon is 28th 0.41 (same as Bruno Fernandes) #NUFC

I'd like to see them push Miley into midfield and go Hall-Schar-Thiaw for the first ten mins. Then if nothing changes, swap out Thiaw for Botman. The difficulty is that Botman will be lacking sharpness. It's the 2-up-front for Leeds that has them stumped - they're so used to facing 4-3-3.

I’ve made a point of watching a fair bit of your boy Kees Smit lately, purely for research as I see he’s being linked with everyone. The foundations are certainly there, but he’s a lot rawer than I think many are making out. It’ll be a brave club that goes to the numbers being mentioned for him.
