Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.

Now we learn the billionaire owner of a bridge that will compete w/the new Canada-MI bridge met with Lutnick right before Trump issued his threat to shut down the new bridge. The Trump admin is a lawless mafia gangster extortion racket existing to enrich oligarchs at our expense.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.

We must not fund ICE. The Constitution gave Congress the power of the purse. Congress must use that power aggressively and fearlessly if our country is to survive.

This is indefensible. When idiotic ideology cancels-out life-saving science, there's no redeeming those who made the decision to say no.
So the feds ARE NOT considering an mRNA vaccine for the flu, which could save countless lives, but ARE backing research into whether horse dewormer can cure cancer, because the right views vaccines as elite and ivermectin as populist.

Cool.

FDA won’t review Moderna application for first mRNA-based flu vaccine
The decision, which shocked company officials, comes as the FDA says it will take a stricter approach to federal vaccine approvals.

The emails in my inbox emphasize: nothing, absolutely nothing, has changed. All eyes should still be on Minnesota.
Notice how the popular media narrative has moved on, while people on the ground in Minneapolis are still struggling and crying out that things are as bad as ever. This is how fascist regimes operate — overreach, recalibration, normalization. Get louder, not quieter.

That's my representative 🙂
Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."

The Wall Street Journal just illustrated the core argument of my book: a system rigged to reward capital over labor is one in which even full-time work no longer secures the most basic material needs.

This is the economic order that produces the "working homeless."

NEW: There's been another round of layoffs at the lab formerly known as NREL.

Weeks after scrubbing “renewable energy” from its name, the National Laboratory of the Rockies in Golden has cut 134 staffers.

Only in the Trump era does the idea that private sector schools should just get to do whatever the hell they want with taxpayer cash get taken even halfway seriously
Yeah and right-wing groups are having their usual meltdown about potential new voucher accountability that:

✅ monitors child safety
✅ guards against misspending on luxury items like jewelry
✅ return unspent $ to taxpayers

This oversight is going to happen eventually.
Arizona voters could rein in school vouchers at the ballot box in November, per @12News' Craig Harrris. www.12news.com/article/news...
