Running Wrap Up, 2024

Not as good as 2023; ran less miles, slower, with less elevation. But, as a result, I had few injuries (the plan).

Total Miles: 2,180
Miles Per Week: 42
Speed: 10:40 a mile

Always thankful I can still run, since at 58, any injury or worse could put an end to it for good.🙏
Tuberville may well be one of the dumbest people alive today. This man is so stupid I'm surprised his organs continue to regulate and operate properly. This doesn't mean he won't win, though.

Mullin: Let me see if I can effectively parrot Russian propoganda without outright saying "I am parroting Russian propaganda"
VARNEY: This deal in my opinion would be a win for Putin. You happy with that?

MARKWAYNE MULLIN: It's a win for both. Kyiv was never gonna be able to put back into Ukraine -- not Kyiv, but uh, uh, uh, my mind has slipped me

V: Crimea

M: Crimea. They kind of see themselves as more Russian anyways

Says police should rough up the people they arrest, thinks protesters should be shot in the leg, thinks Khasogghi "had it coming" when he was dismembered by a bone saw, wants Dem Senators to get the death penalty, yeah, he doesn't sound violent to me.
JD Vance on the same morning Trump calls for execution of elected Democrats: "He's not a violent person:"

Trump calls for death penalty for sitting Democratic representatives, NYT doesn't see it as "news fit to print". No where to be found on front page

The NYT hits keep coming. After Douthat's last column, "Why Women Ruined the Workplace" now we get "Understanding Why the Right Hates Jews"
November 20, 2025 at 3:03 PM
NYT at it again. 119k jobs is "solid gains" when it's only solid gains following two months of 0 jobs gained. In a normal environment, 119k jobs would be anemic.

It's not like the Mafia soldiers collect protection money once and that's it. They return, week after week, for their envelope.

Is this piece a joke? Satire? It can't be serious, right?

Wow, what a W!

China agrees to purchase, for the next three years, precisely what it bought from the US the three years prior to Trump coming into office!

Right back to where we were. It's an economic coup! What a deal maker Trump is!

"I told a degree in welding from Harvard"
Trump on Harvard: "We reached a concept of a deal but it's pretty complicated bc under this deal it would be $500m, they're gonna open up trade schools. I love the idea of trade & trade schools by Harvard. You know, they get into like a vocational-type school... we may just charge them a $500m fine"

How does Johnson say that and not spontaneously burst into flames?
Mike Johnson: "They berated a Capitol police officer, screamed at him. He was merely standing his post. It shows, again, their disdain for law enforcement, the Democrats, screaming, assaulting officers."

So she's saying if you look "different" from the standard white man, there's reasonable suspicion and that this makes it protected by the 4th Amendment. Ooooooh kay.
McLaughlin: "Pritzker said there's racial profiling, which is absolutely false. Our officials use reasonable suspicion. That's protected under the US Constitution 4th Amendment."

To @govpritzker.illinois.gov:

I understand why you frame your remarks as speaking for Illinois: “Illinois won’t be intimidated by a wannabe dictator.”

Well said.

But you’re one of the few rising to the occasion, and the times require more than speaking for your state.

Speak for America.
The President of the United States is threatening to go to war with an American city.

This is not a joke. This is not normal.

Donald Trump isn't a strongman, he's a scared man. Illinois won’t be intimidated by a wannabe dictator.

"Who knows" Vance says. Well, they do know. The answer is in the files they refuse to release.
JD Vance: "We know that Jeffrey Epstein had a lot connections with left-wing politicians and left-wing billionaires ... Democrat billionaires and Democrat political leaders went to Epstein island all the time. Who knows what they did."

I can't tell - is Trump suggesting the other Fed board members should rise up and murder the Fed Chair and usurp his role?

Zero % chance Trump wrote this. Lots of tell-tale signs, but the clear evidence is the claim at the bottom that he thought Elon's choice for NASA was an inappropriate conflict of interest. Trump wrote that? Puh-lease.
