When I post on theology or pastor things, consider me a professional expert. When I post on trans or covid/long covid things, consider me a personal expert and activist, when I post on anything else, that’s my own personal opinion, sometimes thought through but not always.

This is giving the same energy as a grades appeal. You think I was too harsh and you want me to regrade your paper? Are you suuuure?

King Henry II and Thomas Becket come to mind.

Bacon: "The president was demanding her indictment 2 weeks ago and I think it really muddies the water. Normally, the president says out of this discussion, they let the attorney general and the process work. When you have a president ordering & demanding indictments, it will be used by the defense"

The test will be designed so that a fail gets the highest grade so he can see he has the highest test results EVER.

Yes, very true! Two popes in a row make me especially hopeful.

I changed the printer paper and the printer dialog box asked if I had changed the paper and I said (out loud), "That's none of your business." So that's how my day is going.

I voted a few days ago and the poll workers were asking if wanted a school trustee ballot. It was a weird question. I was like uh yes! Maybe they were trying to save blank ballots from the box? It was still weird.

What a change from fifty years ago!

Yes certainly I am not his intended audience. I couldn’t tell whether it was meant sarcastically or not - part of me thought yes and part no. I’m going to hope for sarcasm.

The author only cares because now white men are targets? They weren’t right that govt will persecute Xians. What they got right is that people with power will always crush those who stand up for the powerless. He should be asking for forgiveness from the trampled that he never cared about before.

Sometimes futility seems like the right word.

Yes, I did - I saw that Neos is cancelling their flight to Toronto and that some American airlines are reconsidering flights to the Middle East. Did I miss something? There were a lot of ads in the middle and I might have missed in my scrolling.

I’m not sure I would call it chaos. They fly to one city from one country and it looks like they have only been running those flights since 2023.

Get ready for en masse declarations of certain denominations as anti-Christian and therefore terrorist organizations. Then the clergy will be targeted as terrorists. Pauline scholarship is about to get interesting when it comes to his relationship with the Empire and who’s interpreting him right.

Does this mean gender-affirming surgeries will become available in Alberta instead of sending patients to Montreal? (Yeah, I thought not)

In addition to being a good undergrad text, I would add that it is a fantastic text for pastors to update their seminary education. So much has changed in the development of the early church in the last few years. Pastors will want to catch up.

An evening taize service? Lights down, no electric instruments…

I led Wednesday evening Holden worship and presided every Sunday at church the entire nine months I was pregnant, but my kid still ended up autistic. Maybe it’s because I also took Tylenol?

“You may think this is crazy….get him in church. Get him listening to Christian music. Even just Christian kid songs.….they can feel Gods presence and the comfort of the Holy Spirit.”

Just one suggestion from a member of the Leucovorin for Autism group
