Passion Tax is so real. I've never known an artist who wasn't just scraping by -- even the ones you think are successful. Even the ones working in studio.

It makes you feel like you're insane, fighting for scraps.

this "passion tax" appears all over the place & should be talked about more. you see it in book stores and game stores all the time

excitement for particular work is constantly weaponized to depress wages & pit workers against each other

we’re mildly annoyed the original figure doesn’t have this new cartoon/comic head. the MP10 copy-paste is perfectly fine on its own, but Skybound made us attached to the big soulful eyes and angular shape… and they could have done it this whole time, and it would be more accurate to tTFtM too. orz
