This is disgusting, regardless of your views generally on rainbow crossings in general, this is a memorial site - show some respect to the friends, family and community impacted by those 49 people who were killed.

Lots of folks are experiencing...lets call them...difficulties getting into or back to the US. This is the first I've heard of someone being denied entry because their passport conforms with their gender (probably not the first and certainly not the last). At least it wasn't at the border, I guess.

I just interviewed for a promotion. Fortunately, I work for county government and not federal. Otherwise, taking the promotion (if it should be offered) would put me in danger of being fired, ending my 11 year career. I'm not sure the general public realizes what being a probationary worker means.
