I had no desire to see Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, I did not see the first one because I was 29 when the first *game* came out. But I like Matthew Lillard a lot, and Quentin Tarantino is such an obnoxious turd that I just might watch those movies out of spite.

Gonna be real, all my friends are adults with jobs and lives, and reading a 250+ page textbook isn’t on a lot of their to-do lists. And I’m almost always the DM. I only ask that they pay attention to rules when they’re explained.
In the RPG community, statements that shouldn't be controversial in any way -- like "you should read the rulebook before playing the game" -- are instead seen as radical and unreasonable because D&D's core rules are 900+ pages.

Nothing more fun in Dead by Daylight than seeing yet another Feng Min in a stupid gaudy costume start the fight with a flashlight, then immediately disconnect the moment she realizes the killer used Lightborn because they didn’t wanna deal with her stupid BS.

It is a whole lot easier to make a game based on Spider-Man and Wolverine and the X-Men and the Fantastic Four than it is to make basically any DC property that isn’t Batman. Superman is too powerful. The Flash just runs really fast. Most of the rest of DC is “Supes but not really.”
it's weird to me that Warner Brothers owns multiple game development studios and Marvel does not, and yet I have a cornucopia of Marvel video games and a dearth of D.C. Comics games

Part of the fun of this current story I’m working on is remembering when I was on a morphine drip and thinking how I didn’t give a *fuck* about the world while that sweet, sweet drug was coursing through my veins. Someone could’ve hacked my hand off with a cleaver and I would’ve just shrugged.

We’re rewatching Stardust Crusaders and we had forgotten there’s two whole episodes of JoJo’s Bizarre adventure where a character de-ages to a 4 year-old and then has to protect a fetus from a child-murderer. And none of this particular Bizarre Adventure is happening to JoJo.

Both Kill Bill movies back to back is one of those things that sounds like a great idea, until you remember when you had that viewing experience back in college. The pacing in those flicks are so different that it just doesn’t work when viewed together.
Also Vol.2 kinda sucks.

I went into Steel Ball Run fairly blind, and while I shouldn’t be *surprised* that one of the cowboys in a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure story has to use autoerotic asphyxiation in order to remove salamander venom, that doesn’t mean I should have *expected* it.

I tried reading it a few times and same. Then I listened to the original BBC radio drama, and I got it. Also, the radio drama is the *first* version, so I would argue it’s the more authentic version.
since people are sharing bad opinions tonight I’m finally reading Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and… I don’t totally love it like I was hoping to. maybe too many decades of hype
