So how do we push back against ICE and CBP, and run the damn ball against authoritarianism? One carry at a time. Just pick one. Don’t over commit.
Call. Connect. Contribute. And just as importantly, utilize R&R. Just take care of today.

The most anticipated baby out of all our babies. After we lost Charlie, we had a whole lot packaged into this child - and she is AMAZING. Gifted in too many ways to list, but her biggest gift is having the kindest heart.

In a time of chaos sometimes it helps to have a reprieve, and found one in HBO’s Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Dragon show w/on the dragons for those wondering- would love @edsbs.bsky.social perspective on a show centered around a big lunk, who is basically a chill Gronk as a walk-on knight.

Very little if anything seems to have changed on the ground. ICE is still out there terrorizing neighborhoods and trying to disappear neighbors. None of us on the ground are buying this bullshit. We will keep organizing and fighting.
The intense fallout from the killing of Alex Pretti has forced President Trump to publicly change course in Minneapolis.

Listen to our White House reporters discuss the changes on today's episode of "The Daily."
Trump Changes Course in Minneapolis
The White House has been met with broad outcry over the killing of Alex Pretti, as well as pushback from Congress.

@shutdownfullcast.bsky.social absolutely cackling at the fact you talked about Nebraska basketball (complimentary), renamed it “the real Corn Hole,” and knowing Nebrasketball dropped their first game shortly thereafter. A+ no notes

Holy shit. We have a federal agency that is putting Americans in a database, and they are coincidentally gunned down days later? Where in the hell is the leadership of either Democrats or Republicans to burn DHS/ICE/CBP to the GROUND?!

We heard this argument quite often in 2024, when the petition to repeal vouchers was on the ballot. So parents, who get the tax benefits/voucher money, also get to decide if it’s worth it? Why don’t we just let oil companies get paid by the government and decide the regulations…oh wait.

Today has been tough in south Minneapolis. A lot of ICE, a lot of drama. I’m almost ready to eat dinner and then log in to a school protector training and… the helicopters start in. I want Minnesota to ban the use of tear gas, flash bangs, and all other forms of chemical weapons. And helicopters.

Things are terrible right now, which can lead some folks to alcohol or drugs.

But have you ever tried at age 44 to stand up too fast from your office chair, proceed to walk around the building to stretch your legs, and about 20 steps in you feel light headed and wonder is this it? What a rush.

Sesame Street is now offering tips for parents on post-trauma comfort because the federal government is physically and mentally abusing our country's children.

name a fucking high school after him.
CNN reporting that a week before Alex Pretti was killed, 5 agents tackled him and he suffered a broken rib. CNN says he stopped his car after he saw ICE agents interacting with a family on foot and began to blow his whistle. Source tells CNN Pretti believed “That day he thought he was going to die”

Subscribing permanently to Neighborism. So much so it’s now in my profile. @adamserwer.bsky.social wrote one of the best pieces I’ve read this week (month? Year?) and will be sharing.
Also poignant was pointing out the fear of these thugs, and hopefully a purposeful love will indeed melt ICE.

Showing Minnesota, they have friends everywhere.
Need one for Nebraska (and not the AI slop people are ripping, as a former graphic designer major once upon a time they hurt my soul).
From the mind of @bdsa83.bsky.social to a shirt. Online now, in stores soon. Raising money for a local group in MSP that wishes to remain anonymous. www.raygunsite.com/collections/... #raygun #RebelLoonAlliance

Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

Stephen Miller costing Trump the Nobel Peace Prize is one of the most glaring blind spots for this administration. 👀
I continue to believe that the fastest way to get Stephen Miller fired is to convince Trump that Miller's ICE operations are what cost him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Well, his press conference where he threatened anyone calling them “Gestapo,” which he pronounced with a hard Schtap…probably made Stephen Miller happy (what a terrible image) -
Hope they have the right size booster seat for his ride home.

We’re getting word that Bovino has found a discarded lego where he will take up shelter for this evening - but as is custom for his class he does have a smoldering ember resembling his kind’s tiki torches to keep him warm.
sources describe an incident in which a packing bovino was "jumanji-d" inside a toiletry bag for unknown period of time.
Reporting live from Minnesota, Bovino picked up his helmet, fashioned from half a ping pong ball, wound up his motorcycle and cruised away
