A copied cassette of this is what got me into punk and alternative music as a youth. The intensity and anger here about their life in Northern Island was a revelation and the music, not just the lyrics, spoke to that.

A local paper did a huge write-up about an upcoming protest in a rural MN town. Can’t access the info because of the paywall. Can’t read anti-ICE letters to the editor. Paywalls keep us uninformed and keep us from building movements.

If every website removed their paywall for a week, you'd see how much of what's in the Epstein files was covered in real time. And you'd remember what actually happened in the first Trump term and how everything he's doing now was announced then. Paywalls are a massive self-inflicted wound.
