I mean, NFP put forward a reasonable good faith proposal after the snap election, but Macron preferred to align with the RN, who he had been campaigning against for years, because retraites, with a predictable outcome. It's really more like 3-5 drivers with LFI and LR as the two unreliable wildcards

I mean, it is him, but that doesn't mean that anyone else in France is better at it or that there isn't fault to go around. But Macron is one unforced error after another and being in a shit system with shit players doesn't really excuse his own ineptitude.
