It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

This is why people like and respect @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social . He has more courage to call out the Israeli-led genocide in Gaza than world leaders and most elected officials in this country.

We need elected officials who actually believe in the freedoms of all peoples.

Trump is filling his government with Nazis, consolidating authoritarian power, and eroding democracy at every chance.

And yet these 86 House Democrats voted for a right-wing messaging amendment to say that the real authoritarians are the socialists.

Pathetic.

Just to review, in the last week the President of the United States:

- Refused to condemn the rise of Neo-Nazis in his party
- Tried to block the release of further evidence he sexually abused children
- Encouraged the execution of Congressional Democrats

Those are just factual statements.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

It's also true that the Brewers have had terrible batted balls luck as well. Pretty much a perfect storm
October 17, 2025 at 5:45 PM
So, I think many of us Brewers fans assumed that we were probably making this offensive stretch worse in our heads than it's been in reality. Turns out, these past six games have been the worst six game stretch of hitting (batting average) in the history the MLB postseason. lol
Lowest Batting Averages, Any Span of 6 Postseason Games in MLB History:

2025 Brewers, .140
2022 Yankees, .155
2012 Yankees, .161
2017 Cubs, .162
2013 Cardinals, .163
2022 Phillies, .163
2017 Astros, .166
2020 Rays, .168
1974 A's, .170

I knew Chourio was having bad luck on batted balls in this series. I did not realize how much that's affected William Contreras as well.
Feels like this about sums up the NLCS: No player in the series has more balls hit 100+ mph than Jackson Chourio and William Contreras. They’re a combined 1 for 8 on those swings, and 0 for 7 on balls in play.

Our economy is almost certainly in a recession already. Data points like this are demonstrating just how bad things could get.

Over 50% of all economic spending is coming from the top 1% as well.

When this bubble bursts, it may make 1929 look like a blip.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents with Border Patrol, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested 37 people in the raid.

Let’s open our eyes. This isn’t a functioning democracy any longer when - in the middle of a high stakes funding fight - the President illegally suspends federal projects in states run by Democrats as a way to punish the political opposition.

It's worth noting that the Republicans control all three branches of government and the Dems literally couldn't pass a CR on their own. So anyone who writes anything about Dems being responsible is not only lying, they're doing it in service to this administration.

Good morning.

The government is shut down because Trump wants to act like a king and steal from you.

Democrats have no obligation to support a budget that funds the destruction of our democracy - and DOUBLES health premiums to fund a tax cut for billionaires.

AOC: I think there's two things that are happening at once: One, there absolutely is an unprecedented abuse of power, destruction of norms, erosion of our government and our democracy in order to prop up an authoritarian style of governance

However, they are weaker than they look…

I'm annoyed with elected dems too, but can we direct this at Republicans as well? After all, they're the ones who saved him after 1/6 and are the biggest reason why this is happening.
If any other president in all of history said the military should use American cities as a training ground he would be removed from office that same day. The hardest thing to tolerate in all this is how relatively silent elected democrats are. It’s ridiculous.

There's really not anything else left to say at this point other than everyone in this country needs to oppose this.
Trump: "The ones that are run by radical left Democrats -- what they've done to San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles. They're very unsafe places & we're gonna straighten them out one by one. This is gonna be a major part for some people in this room. That's a war too. It's war from within"

So, Trump and the GOP want to shut the government down as an excuse to permanently alter Social Security and Medicare?
👀 Just Now -- President Trump in the Oval Office said a government shutdown gives his administration the power to cut benefit programs, which include Social Security and Medicare.

He illegally sent federal forces into DC to try and provoke a reaction that would give them cover to push further. It didn't work.

Now, he's targeting Portland for the same reason. The people of this country will not stand for this.
Trump says he authorizes Hegseth to deploy the military to Portland, which he lyingly calls "war ravaged," and says he is authorizing "full force."
