Same, lol. I actually just had my phone permanently on silent until I moved to a place where the front gate calls you to let people in and I couldn't do that anymore. Also, people who don't know how to text have become the bane of my existence.

It's such a nightmare. No matter how many numbers I block, my phone is ringing all day.

Idk how many times doing nothing led to something. It’s the downtime that starts the next push. The mind reflects and wanders and the next idea is born.

If you are attacking unarmed humanitarian aid ships with water cannons and drones, while civilians starve in the city rubble -- you are not the good guys.

Anyone pretending Israel is still in the right here needs to take a long hard look at what they're supporting.

South Africa is crazy right now. Lol.

Anybody taking incendiary essays, highly critical of US and Israeli foreign policy, with a bit of sci fi, and Warren Gibson analysis thrown in?

For the first 40 odd years of my life, I lived under state-sanctioned oppression. The reality is that a great deal of ppl are perfectly comfortable with fascism as long as it doesn't mean them.

To see blatant hate speech as "just an opinion" is the outlook of the perfectly comfortable. Same old.

Somehow the world has reached a new level of decay, where a person might get killed for their political beliefs. This is unprecedented territory. No black activists have ever been assassinated. Students and workers have never been gunned down in the street by the security apparatus etc.

If you missed it or haven't seen it recently, I am still adding to this starter pack.

I actually naively thought South Africans would be more concerned about what's happening in Nepal, than that white boy bigot getting shot.

It's so strange to me. It's like murder was just invented.

South African's upset over Kirk's death, totally baffled how people can be so heartless...

Also had nothing to say about the latest school shooting in the US.

Yes, murder is wrong. But if the first US murder you comment on is over a cis, white man GOP member...I am taking notes.

I'm fascinated by all the South Africans that are falling over themselves to declare how bad murder is after Kirk's death.

I mean, I agree, murder is wrong...which is why I was also sad after Kyle Rittenhouse went on a killing spree and these same people said...nothing.
