I was a TA when I was doing my doctoral studies at Florida State. Back then (2016-2018), we didn't have chatgpt so writing essays was one of the best ways to see if a student did the work and understood the materials.

Why do trains in the UK cost so much at peak hours?
It's mostly NOT due to privatisation
It is because the UK state has not invested enough in its network to up capacity, and even today does not subsidise operations very much

Grace's father had dentures because his own teeth had been knocked out in WWII by a rifle butt wielded by a downed Japanese pilot they were trying to rescue. The pilot attacked because he believed the propaganda that the Americans tortured prisoners of war.
Before the earth cooled, I remember a senior chief telling a bunch of first-year midshipmen, including me, that we'd do our best to rescue survivors in the water, even if they were just shooting at us a minute before; we don't hasten their demise, or do any of those stupid war-movie-revenge things.

The only trouble with the Tring-Euston route is passing the Ovaltine factory & having to sing the Ovaltinies song*
I have a similar problem driving through Marsh Gibbon (if you know which song, you must be as old as me)
