An ICE agent killed Renee Good, yet it’s my colleague @replamonica.bsky.social who faces prison time for conducting oversight at an ICE facility.

This is political retribution by the Trump regime—protecting Jonathan Ross while targeting those who demand accountability.
I came to Congress to do the job: to work for people and protect them.

Now I’m facing 17 years in prison for standing up to this administration and to ICE. But if they think I’ll back down, they are wrong.

I’ve probably posted a dozen threads about the NE 65th St bike lane, but the situation is getting ridiculous, as you can see in the video (one of the UPS vans was here for an hour). How do we get an ‘ever better bike lane’ here?

Don’t do this @theguardian.com
In other news, the Guardian is now running scam ads. This is what happens when you choose to data harvest your readers with surveillance adtech & run shitty programmatic ads…a literal fake BBC news report (starring @martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com) embedded into an actual news report

"Our investigation also found huge variation in the way councils record repairs across the country"

Yes, potholes are a meaningless thing to measure, but politicians and the media talk about them incessantly.
Labour pledged to fix a million more potholes each year in England.

But Full Fact analysis of 150+ council reports reveals it’s likely to struggle to do so, with early combined estimates from 85 projecting no overall increase in repairs in 2025/26.

“Collaborators”
After one day of unity over Trump the Mail, the Telegraph, Times and Badenoch have decided the Chagos are more important than the destruction of the western alliance and backed the insane ramblings of a rogue president who was fine with the deal last year. We see you #collaborators
Choosing sides between a rogue president bent on destroying the Western alliance and UK and EU governments finally standing up to him shouldn’t be difficult for mainstream political parties or news organisations. So come on Telegraph, Times, Badenoch and yes you Farage if you want to be PM…
