While evictions rise, the city is also cutting funding to 1) rent relief 2) street outreach 3) permanent supportive housing & other housing voucher programs & 4) shelters

If we’re talking purely money, it costs more to provide appropriate housing support for someone the longer they are unhoused.

Rounding up people up and sending them to a country they've never been to without due process used to be "not actually a thing you can do."

Blue states should sign an interstate compact imposing economic sanctions on states that send their national guard, uninvited, into any of the compact member states. Refuse to do business with states that violate other states’ sovereignty.
