Not just Johnson either: if I say Sir Keir looks like a man with a square dick trying to fuck a row of donuts, I am doing that because I was raised in a culture of brutal hazing. Which can be silly and fun (see sitcoms) but also very nasty, deliberately cruel and destructive (see newspapers).

I urge you to note here how much of British politics and media - and indeed British culture in general - is just bullying, and little more. It’s a daily exercise in enforcing the social hierarchy by reminding everyone who they can and cannot kick. That’s why our most famous sitcoms are like that.
