Generally speaking, Prime Ministers have tended to be quite popular until a decision they made killed six-figure numbers of people and/or caused everyone to lose their life savings. This doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

The mainstream media reminding you to spend more for the holidays. It’s the only thing keeping the economy afloat. And we have a bunch of billionaires who really badly want to be trillionaires. And that is more important, remember, than feeding the hungry. Or healthcare. Or human decency.
