What a dirty little fucking piece of shit carrier bag this is. Should be ashamed of itself.
A carrier bag with the words ‘This carrier bag is 100% degradable’ written on it.

For years I’ve been bemoaning the fact you couldn’t stream Moonlighting anywhere in the UK and the DVDs were out of print and stupidly expensive. Well, @christhebarker.bsky.social has made me aware it’s ALL now on the STV app. Have at it.

I bet you'd have given anything for a glass of cool spring mountain water while watching.

My favourite is: Jimmy McGovern refreshed the police procedural by focusing on criminal psychologist Fitz (Robbie Coltrane’s career-best role) who gets results despite or because of his own personality disorders. No notes. Perfect. Despite or because of the way that it is written.

This is well worth backing. I missed the first few issues as I was skint at the time, but if you want to read brilliant articles on pop culture and beyond then give it a shot. Check out the digital ‘Best Of’ for free as well!

“How did you know?” I asked.

With a twinkle, he replied: “In all my years working on computer magazines, only the fans call me Mr Bidmead, rather than Chris.”

Rest well!

RIP Christopher H Bidmead. I once did a brief stint as sub editor on ComputerActive magazine. Chris came into the office one day to have a chat with the editor.

I approached him and said: “Mr Bidmead, I just wanted to say hello.”

“Ah! A Doctor Who fan!” He responded.
