We don’t dance on the grave of NFTs enough. I had a year where I was repeatedly told by bozos I was going to be irrelevant and extinct for not embracing them, I should be allowed a victory lap.

My New Year's resolution, arbitrary as it is, is to be online less. I'm having trouble concentrating, chasing little dopamine hits instead of committing to long term activities like writing and reading. I'm addicted to the distractions, and it has to stop. I'm too old for this constant outrage. (1)

190 lives lost on Irish roads in 2025, and a government that are choosing to do something worse than nothing. They are abandoning road safety interventions planned by the previous government.

I mean yeah it’s an authoritarian takeover but can we take some comfort in the fact that the people doing it are INSANELY stupid?

Who would’ve thought it?

When you spend months paralysing the Government just for Michael Lowry and his mates to ask you questions, you are left with a legislative wasteland.

They've done it again, they've cut more rail projects. The most criminal one for me is cancelling the reopening of the Waterford-Wexford/Rosslare line. On the left is the All-island Rail Review published by the last government and on the right is the plan published today.

Today it's exactly 6 years ago that EU Commission President Von der Leyen announced the European Green Deal, which she called "Europe's Man on the Moon moment" 🎂

Von der Leyen's priority today? Acting on corporate demands for #deregulation, recklessly rolling back environment and health standards 😡

The flotilla mobilisation for the liberation of the Palestinian people gave us an inch of hope.

We can’t lose hope for Palestinians.
When we mobilise, we scare the oppressors.
Get that anger, get that hope, and keep mobilising.

Every year since 1988, the United States has recognized World AIDS Day — until now.

Why not? Maybe because the Trump administration doesn’t want to acknowledge that its foreign aid cuts led to nearly 150,000 deaths from AIDS, according to Boston University researchers.

Shameful.

Housing and health were among the most salient issues for nearly all parties. Interestingly, immigration barely featured in the manifestos.

A huge Green Party turnout at the National Climate March today to call on the government to stop the U-turns and get serious about climate action, nature restoration and ending fossil fuels.
