This is a shocking move even for them.
People's homes are flooded and sewage is running down the streets cause of climate change and these clowns are deprioritizing doing anything about it.
The only thing they'll do is remove judicial reviews...
Half the country under water, but this is what Jack Chambers and this government think of Ireland's commitment to climate action, as if we needed any further proof that they couldn't give a shit.

I assume he owns a house on a hill.

Today, Paul Murphy said that the Government are afraid to stand up to big tech, and Micheál Martin replied "How dare you? Who the hell do you think you are? That is a reprehensible assertion."
You can gauge how true an accusation is by how flowery they get in the language of their rebuttal.

You find the idea that you're a top-down person "repugnant"? You're not just saying it's untrue, you're calling it out as REPUGNANT?

I'm afraid that makes it an extremely accurate accusation.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has defended his leadership of Fianna Fáil amid criticism from within the party over his handling of the presidential election.

"The idea that I'm some top-down person is just repugnant to me as a person. It's not my style," he said. jrnl.ie/6860148

All of Michael Martin's statements these days are just "we can't deliver flood relief", "we can't deliver climate reform", "we can't deliver transport infrastructure", "we can't criticise the US"

What can you deliver

What is the point of you
The Government cannot "wave a magic wand and just deliver" flood relief schemes, Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said, as he visited affected homes and businesses in Co Wexford

"There was simply no way to plan for this," says guy who ignored everyone urging him to plan for this. Every crisis in this country comes back to the idea it can't be fixed overnight, so we may as well not try at all

The Pitt got greenlit for a season 3, out next February, and the announcement has very funny comment from HBO chairman Casey Bloys that’s like “yeah, turns out if you just make a TV show like how we used to make TV shows you can have a 15+ episode season every year 🤷‍♂️”

It's almost like this is exactly what people have been saying for the last 5-10 years. Glad we blew up that ecosystem just to circle back to the obvious

Incredible how few politicians there are ready to meet this moment against big tech. Still so many that don't even pretend to understand the issues at hand
Sitting across the Oireachtas Children's Committee on online safety for children.

Very much getting the impression that a lot of politicians are reaching for the Under-16 ban. Momentum behind that rather than a deeper understanding of platforms, algorithms and any alternative view.

Blindingly obvious in a non-legal sense that City are guilty and should be stripped of achievements

I find it very difficult to take seriously any discussion of their titles that doesn't take this into account. Players and managers' careers should be tarnished for cheating
