I'm just like a large language model in that I've read everything on the internet and it's made me effectively useless

i love glorfindel because when you read more about him in the silmarillion it actually makes his role in lotr make *less* sense. he's a resurrected demigod who's killed balrogs and when they're setting up the fellowship he's like "nah i'll pass. good luck though"

this steam next fest to keep things exciting consider taking a drink every time a game asks you to pick one temporary upgrade from a selection of three temporary upgrades

a new film from joel and ethan cowen
parody of the poster for A Serious Man made out of stuff from the far side cow tools comic. A cow stands on a roof near a tv antenna constructed out of pronglers. title reads "A Serious Cow"

been watching Blue Planet for the first time with friends lately and the main thing i've learned is that sardines live in abject misery

the fact this is the first time i've ever heard of Tron: Ares in my life probably not doing them any favours

‘TRON: ARES’ has earned $14.3M in its opening day at the domestic box office.

For comparison, ‘MORBIUS’ opened to $17.3M.

watched Paranormal Activity which was better than i expected! the experience was also enhanced by the noise of cats knocking things over elsewhere in the house

In my opinion it’s time to retire the Nobel prizes for fields where most of the important discoveries have already been made, like physics, and add prizes for newer fields where substantial innovations occur every year, like speedrunning

i tried to come up with a terrible halloween pun for my usual username but now i'm looking at this and i'm like damn. this is just a good username

completed elephantasy and had a great time! sadly the Jar Storage puzzle just didn't want to work even with the hotfix but i'll just come back to see if there's another ending once it's not october kdhkdnhk
the ending screen from Elephantasy. at the top are pixel art icons of a red boot, a golden ring, a blue snorkel, brown seeds, and a green leaf whistle. text underneath reads "35/36 gems. 103 keys. Rank 4"

In Super Smash Bros., the skeletons visible when characters are hurt by electric attacks are not tied to specific animations, and instead are a form that can be toggled on and off at any time, including in cutscenes. Below are excerpts of the game's intro, with skeletons.

@linker.itch.io sorry to bother you but i think i've encountered a bug in Elephantasy? the warp pot won't react to any of the warp rooms and this puzzle in Pot Storage won't spawn the gem either. i think it might be to do with them being halloween pumpkin pots? love the game otherwise dfgdfgdf
screenshot of Elephantasy. i'm standing in the Jar Storage room, where there are several shelves with two jars on them each. i've placed a jar on one of them, which should solve a puzzle and cause a gem to appear, but it hasn't. the jar i placed looks like a smiling jack-o-lantern.

wait i looked up a video walkthrough and i think the pots look different because it's a halloween seasonal thing? and i think this may have broken some of the puzzles because this guy solved one exactly the way i tried to and it worked for him but not me? hang on i gotta mess with my system clock

the achievement image for interacting with the weird pot shows a different pot, but it looks like it's in the same location you find this pot and this pot is a unique sprite too. i think i've missed a step of the puzzle somewhere
decypress.bsky.social
elephantasy update: almost an hour of trying and i can't get the weird pot to do anything. it won't react to the marked rooms. i can't tell if the game is bugged or i'm just stupid
screenshot of elephantasy, a pixel-art game. i am a little elephant in an icy room, holding up a pot that looks like a sad jack-o-lantern. there is a giant red flower to the right. on the back wall is a map marking rooms that this pot should react do, but doesn't
