Also, not a con law guy, but don’t think the idea is that the 4th Amendment aims to PROTECT arrest powers but to LIMIT them.

They are trying to invert a Constitutional that focused on negative liberties (“state can’t do x”) to constrain the state into one of positive liberties FOR the state.
DHS getting basic 4th Amendment law wrong on its official Twitter account.

Seems like this post is bound to show up as an exhibit in one of the cases challenging ICE/Border Control enforcement actions.

More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

There, she waged war on COVID mitigation policies, including vaccine requirements.

NEW: This week, Daily Show host Jon Stewart introduced his audience to Jenin Younes, describing her as a courageous civil rights attorney who had been canceled by both the right and left and therefore “must be doing something right.”

Really, she spent years undermining public health—and Democrats.

This map exposes the Greenland lie.

The US used to have a massive military footprint here.

Today, they operate just ONE base.

If Trump were actually worried about Russian vessels, he would simply open more bases, which Denmark allows

I was just wondering yesterday why no one has used water balloons against ICE, and then saw that they were used here.

I also wondered about the absence of drone use, whether to track, record or drop unpleasant things on ICE, unless that's happening and just hasn't been covered.

From an optics perspective... the protesters being the ones waving the US flag while Bovino et al looks like every awful nazi inspired movie we've ever seen... hats off to Minnesotans.

I think I understand better now. The institutional and social inertia is so strong, especially among elites with “something to lose”. No one wants to stick their heads up first, so they go into denial.
