Sharing a link to GoFundMe again, because I need your help! My dog Serling was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure, her care took up all my available funds, and I need to schedule a follow up ASAP. Would also love any resources for fire affected pet owners! www.gofundme.com/f/help-elle-...

President Trump deployed military troops and federal agents to DC and LA to respond to made-up emergencies, and is now threatening to do the same in other cities across the country.

ESTIMATED TSUNAMI ARRIVAL TIMES FOR THE UNITED STATES/U.S.:

He removed the dialogue, added modern songs, and cut around 20 minutes. It would be great if someone released both versions as a set.

It is, but it looks awful.

He did a recut called Mr. Kneff which played at TIFF a few years back, but I don't think has been generally released.

I'd love to revisit Kafka, but it seems to be impossible to find, other than on ancient VHS releases or poor quality DVDs.

Longlegs spotted with Harvey Keitel in the opening credits of Mean Streets (1973).

It honestly feels random.

If there's a second season, that's precisely what I'll do.

I had the same reaction. Rather difficult to get fully engaged with a show where as soon as you settle in, they're suddenly over. Wish I'd waited until all the episodes were available and watched them in 2 or 3 blocks.

After not being seen for over a week (true), this is how they found him.

Criterion — founded in 1984 — is courting a "new audience of cinephiles” via streaming.

And it’s working.

Criterion Channel “has grown steadily” — and created a "low-churn subscriber base” that has "eclipsed the company’s physical media business”.

How Criterion turned its film archives into a streaming powerhouse
The Criterion Channel refuses to employ Netflix-style algorithmic programming. That choice has courted a whole new audience of cinephiles.

They do an amazing job curating the channel, adding new themed collections every month.
Don't miss out on their great collection of shorts, and while you're there, check out my film IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING, narrated by the brilliant Stephen Fry.

It’s wild how many people think Medicaid cuts won’t affect them because their state calls it something like “Healthy Louisiana”. I don’t even care about right or left right now, this level of civic illiteracy is why it’s so easy to pass bills that hurt everyone.

Totally agree. The Madness of King Donald must end and pretending like everything is normal is delusional and destructive. The sooner we put a stop to this deeply anti-democratic stupidity, the sooner we can get back to pursuing happiness and having something worth celebrating again.

Members of Congress shouldn't be allowed to own stock in anything they can potentially manipulate through their votes. That's enough for a story right there. This particular story could also be run with a full explanation of all the complexities and let the viewers draw their own conclusions.
