That feeling that you click w someone on a deep level in a platonic way, feels like catching lightning in a bottle.✨🧘‍♀️ In my semi-jaded old age, it's not often. Supporting a young woman during a time of grief is so rewarding.💗 #ODAAT

I come here to relax and unwind, which has been hard to do since Jan. Sending a timeline cleanse to anyone who needs it. 💗 Desert wildflowers after winter rain.

My 19yr old gave me this Lego set. 💐 He helped me build it today. I can't stop thinking about what a sweet gesture all of that was. 🥹💗

Today I made chocolate covered caramels for Xmas gifts. They turned out great! No thanks to my attitude about the candy thermometer quitting halfway thru. 🙈 It was a lesson about perfectionism & about candy making.😅

It was not great timing (news-wise) to read a book that turns into a knife-wielding serial killer novel.😑 It felt like there was no escape from the brutality of murder. Between Bondi & the Reiners, I'm heartbroken & horrified. RIP Rob & Michelle Reiner.💔

Got a frantic call from my dad that his pill organizer was missing. He believed someone at his assisted living stole it & wanted to raise hell about it. I gave him ideas of places to look. It turned out to be btwn the nightstand & the wall. Dementia isn't great for emotionally unwell people.

Oh dear. Today's round of nap roulette is back firing. I should be asleep by now but that 3hr nap begs to differ.

I should’ve learned this by now but DO NOT use FedEx. The diseased monkeys I ordered haven’t arrived and I can’t get a straight answer on what happened to them

My preference for stories is that the ending stays true to the character building & setting. I love a plot twist, but not one that completely contradicts all the information already given. #booksky

I chatted w a spritely old lady whose team is in the World Series. She watched the whole game & was totally upbeat today. I had to go to bed in the 11th inning. 🫣 Turns out she's 97! May we all grow old & stay up late.💗

Today's shooting/fiery pain kept me in bed & is making sleep difficult. The upside to that, is that I got to hear owls hooting from my open window. Merlin identified them as great horned owls (totally common in my city). It was still exciting for me tho.🦉🎉 #Spoonsky

This may seem cute but if you do this too much the cyclists may become reliant on cars feeding them, disrupting the delicate roadway ecosystem

It's pretty incredible that my Dr manages to remember & address all the things I hit her with at once at our appts. I needed my Notes app to keep track of them all.
