Some of us have been advocating this going back since chatGPT launched. It also has other benefits: correcting someone else's work is actually a really good way to learn something yourself.

Found a good tumblr post and got inspired to make a comic. Linked in replies. I was very inspired by Norwegian artist Theodor Kittelsen's pencil drawings.

You can take way better pictures of critters and creatures with technology that is widely available! I took this picture of a dragonfly with my cell phone!

Happy #makeaterriblecomicday2025! It’s mandatory that you create some piece of sequential art — what it is and how you make it is up to you! Have fun! You might as well!

Wow...so inspired
A French film swept Japan in the '50s — and its impact on Japanese animation was immense.

Among its fans were Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata and their co-workers at Toei Doga. We explore how they saw it, why they loved it and what they learned:

Comics is one of the those things where you can like know something in your brain but you wont really get it until you feel it out on the page. 95% of everything ive learned, every big “oh shit ive leveled up” moment, happened mid page. You really gotta just dive in the deep end and feel it out
making comics is less like following a recipe and more like becoming a runner. you just gotta break out into a jog and after that, a professional marathoner can probably give you tips on form and pacing, advice on technique, etc, but before that, they can't possibly even know what you need help with

F🔥it. Better to fail than not do.
