The library at Sand Lake Elementary School is getting a makeover, thanks to volunteer Andrew Halcro and his wife. The renovation includes a mural by artist Ted Kim, additional seating and new iPads to help students find books more easily.

I am a supporter of consolidation of schools so that we can better support students with the limited funding we have. Teachers are spread thin and staff shortages are real. At the same time, I do hope to see good proposals to minimize disruption for students with significant needs for support. #ASD
