People going with big name stars are doing it backwards. You need to go with someone who's had a bit role in everything. I'm choosing Eric Roberts. Among his 893 acting credits are roles in The Dark Night, The Expendables, Babylon, The Righteous Gemstones, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The Twitch Recap is out. It's a mess. According to them, my most used emote in my most watched channel is one I've never seen before, and which does not appear in my top five most used emotes, which itself includes one I've never used before but it claims I have, and leaves out one I've used a lot.

Worth mentioning that this means scabies is literally called "the itchies"
Sigh. So, scabies has been around since before Aristotle. It is not a “medieval” disease and this rhetoric contributes to the idea that the Middle Ages was unclean. The Roman physician Celsus is the 1 who named it—from the Latin scabere (“to itch”). Stop making the Middle Ages into a backward period
Medieval skin disease outbreak in the UK leaves patients’ skin ‘crawling’
Several cases of scabies have been reported in schools in Devon

Committing war crimes will do that to a fella.

If the US deemed them combatants, then they must treat them humanely. Executing them is a war crime.

If the US believed they were just drug smugglers, then Hegseth ordered the US military to commit murder.

Either way, it's a lifetime in prison.
“In a rare split with the Trump administration, GOP-led panels in the House and Senate say they want a full accounting in the September military attack.”

Hegseth appears to have crossed a line even the GOP can’t ignore.

They're not hiding it, folks—straight up neo-Nazi advertising, from the font to the language to the 11 stars for the Confederacy. Then you have the DHS openly using white nationalist language of "remigrate", which means ethnic cleansing.

This is who MAGA is now.

Seriously, the money the American Economy has lost just from me since the 2024 election is in the thousands. From not getting American products... even super cool shit like the print above... to cancelling a couple of trips already, and not even bothering to plan new ones.. it's just silly.

This is SO TEMPTING but my backlog is already four hundred games between Steam and unclaimed bundle keys. I'm not buying new games for myself any more.

It's a really fun series though. Can recommend.

As a corollary to this: there are a lot of artists who will black-list you from BUYING art if you have AI slop in your profile. Seeing AI is an instant, immediate red flag for most artists because it's a signal that you do not respect artists (yes, that includes using it "until I can get real art").
Just so you know...
Art directors, Art enjoyers, Art buyers and Artists talk with each other. Nobody wants AI slop, specially when there is real art out there as an alternative. You can totally get blacklisted, not only on the industry, but inside fandoms for defending AI precarization and theft.

The looting of aid in Gaza by "humanitarian rights organisations-backed Hamas" was -of course- actually by Israel, because Israel lies, Western media just prints it, and now a year later the rectification is published after the Palestinians are dead already.

Every chatGPT commercial I've seen is so gross.

It's all just "hey! Are you incapable of putting together a thought by yourself? Basic search skills too elusive for you? Want to show your loved ones you care without actually having to care? Do we have the solution for you!"

This. Absolutely this. SO MUCH THIS.
Yes, HID headlights are very bright but the bigger problem is the proliferation of gargantuan vehicles with 5’+ hood heights so that if you’re driving a normal sized car their headlights are at your eye level rather than seat level like they’re supposed to be.

At some point I stopped updating my notes document about my #vss365 story, and now I have no idea what should come next because I don't remember everything that's happened up to now. I guess it's up to the prompts to tell me. I predicted at the start this would be a glorious catastrophe.

It's time!

Books aren't expensive.

Writers are at the bottom of a large column of people making money off books.

We get screwed the most.

By the publishing industry and the fucking pirates.

You like books? Buy them, or go to the library.

Or there won't be any writers to make the art.

Share a 90s movie you think deserves more love...

Oscar is one of the funniest movies you'll ever see, with a sharp script and perfect casting, but it got panned all over the place because with Stallone involved people were expecting an action film and got a comedy instead.
