Reminds me of something someone thought of in Chicago. Make them miserable everywhere they go. At restaurants, etc. Have the city or state cut the power and water to the buildings they are staying in, you name it.
This morning in Minneapolis, an ICE vehicle got stuck on an icy hill in a residential neighborhood. Agents had to push the vehicles out, some almost slipping in the ice themselves.

Good. While he never ended up scoreing like he was projected, he played hard, represented the team well, and respected the fans. You couldn't have watched the Flyers the past decade and not appreciate the contribution of Scott Laughton.
Scott Laughton is in the starting lineup for the Leafs tonight in his return game to Philly, and he does not get the usual "sucks!" chant from the crowd after his name is announced by Lou Nolan. He instead gets cheers.

Very very true. You go to a city council meeting or a civic association meeting on the regular and the access and influence you'll gain is remarkable.
I really can't emphasize enough that if you care about local politics, all you gotta do is show up. Just a regular schmegular person showing up. Literally just show up consistently in person and within a remarkably short amount of time, you will have a shocking amount of influence.

I've seen this go by a few times on TikTok now and I have to say, I love this idea. We need a way to convince people to keep running even if they don't win, maybe building the loss into it as a troll move is the secret.

What Trump/Texas just did will lead to the death of representative democracy. They’ve opened the door to gerrymandering every 2yrs, b4 any election. And when that happens, Americans will no longer believe their representation is legitimate. And representative democracy will die.
