They can't stop you from being good to the people around you.
I get celebrating Trump's failures because obviously but when I see people on here directly celebrating bad job numbers and high unemployment I feel like the point is being missed. Try not to celebrate misery and poverty. It's a bad look.

After beating Silksong I started playing Silksong again. Just wanna see if Act 1 is any easier. So far, yes. By far.

I don't care what he said. Stop sharing Trump's statement.

The whole fucking point of not signing up for Truth Social is not seeing his garbage but people both here and on Twitter insist on sharing all his dumbass takes. Stop it. You are amplifying him. YOU are part of the problem.

The ACA isn't just "health care for people who don't have a conventional employer." It also disallows something that was incredibly common 20 years ago, which I fear is getting lost to generational memory: insurance companies could deny you health care for essentially any previous health problem.
I'm dubious about Amazon's commitment to keeping pre-existing conditions a thing of the past.

The best way to understand it in old media terms is to think of watching a streamer as akin to listening to talk radio. Maybe you're paying attention. Maybe it's on in the background. But you find a personality you can tolerate and you let it play.

I miss streaming. I did it a bunch in 2020 because I had the time because of the pandemic. I can probably make the time now. Not for streaming every night like I used to, but I'm sure I could schedule weekly streams or something.

I checked out the game awards for the trailers and the general pagentry. Those were all fun. The awards themselves, as usual, don't mean much though I'm glad an indie studio won most of the big awards.

I see most people on my feeds are angry at the awards themselves. You're doing this to yourself.

I did it. I beat Silksong. What a wild piece of art. Loved every minute.

Pay for the kids to get comic making lessons!

Hire some comic artists and writers to come teach the kids!

I took a paneling class in college that changed my art forever, helping me storyboard better.

This will just stunt growth. It's an illusion pf opportunity.

we all got cowed into avoiding "virtue signaling" as if the public affirmation of socially agreed upon ethical principles was somehow cringey instead of a significant part of what a "society" even is. now all there's left is vice signaling, and it's reshaping society.

Hi! Now six months into the Switch 2 generation, I'm looking to speak to developers – from indie to AAA – about whether or not they have dev kits for the console and what developing (or not) is like for it.

Can be anonymous, if wanted! RTs appreciated🙂

We gotta revive the ‘80s style family sitcom so we can have Very Special Episodes about sports gambling apps and letting AI talk you into eating a handgun and whatever else this evil ass culture is doing to kids. People my age still cut up plastic rings to save sea life, that shit 100% worked

No, I 100% agree that computer RPGs these days have too much handholding. I, too, yearn for the days of being able to spend hours crafting my perfect build from hundreds of available options, only to discover that it mathematically cannot survive the mandatory rat fight portion of the first dungeon.

I'm still at Silksong. Not quite at 70 hours yet. Act 3.

The Coral Tower is kicking my ass but the game hasn't beaten me yet.

Hey, hey! I've made my @rpgsite.net (and game critic) debut with a deeeeeep dive look at a game I've been anticipating for years: @somethingclassic.bsky.social's Quartet.

How does it compare to recent retro revival RPGs like Chained Echoes, Sea of Stars, and Eiyuden Chronicle? Let's find out.
Inspired by RPGs of the '90s, Quartet is Something Classic's proof that they've grown up and become more confident with age, and that there's room for continued growth to match their ambition. Our review: https://www.rpgsite.net/review/18986-quartet-review
