I declared at the beginning of the season that Jazz Chisolm Jr. was my guy this year. Ngl not a great start but I stuck with him. Once he got healthy and going, he started going nuts and his homer tonight was a great exclamation mark on that.

I've seen enough to know that it's worth it to try and get through to the ones that can be gotten through to despite the others failing. Washing your hands of it by othering the ignorant gets nobody anywhere.

I've heard so many people say "it's not my job to do the labor of educating you" for so long and it is dangerous. For everyone who refuses to educate anyone else, there are plenty of peolpe on the other side ready with smiles and open arms ready to educate to their twisted views.

In order to change someone's mind you have to gain their trust first. Social media, especially short form social media like this, is terrible for that kind of engagement. I advise people to make an effort to build relationships with people they disagree with in real life. Then you have a shot.

Because if you look at your post your caption is like the top 10% and the rest of it is just you sharing the photo with the original caption below it. That caption is bigger than yours. The picture draws the eye, then having read its caption many won't bother reading yours.
