Nope. Qatar’s not getting a base in Idaho.

They’re creating a training program for its air force at Mountain Home Air Force Base, learning to fly the modified F-15 fighter jets for the Persian Gulf state.

They'll likely model it after the structures used for the Republic of Singapore 428th Fighter Squadron already present at Mountain Home. Qatar will have a training facility on the existing base. This is in line with the US/Qatar "Major non-NATO ally" agreement that was put in place in 2022.
