Finished that Netflix documentary about Forrest Fenn's treasure hunt.

Anyway, tech bros will always be sure they're doing the right thing when they are just setting the stage for more death and misery.

I can't understand why Posey thought starting a new hunt would be a good idea.

Dude, this guy taught his dog to smell bronze up to 4' down to find this treasure, and he never found it but his dog looks like he's having the BEST time.

I don't think that was a waste of time.

At Law Dork today, I highlighted "four key lessons that we can and must take out of 2025." www.lawdork.com/p/four-lesso...

As I did that, Trump announced that he was giving up on his National Guard efforts in states where the action is opposed by the state — illustrating all four of my points.

Because of a conspiracy theory-based stunt by a January 6 insurrectionist who was trying to intimidate children and daycare workers, Trump is now freezing ALL childcare payments across the country.

You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.

The Bank Secrecy Act requires financial institutions to maintain programs to know their customers and detect suspicious activity. But it is up to banks to design those programs.

The regulations don’t even require that the programs be effective.

One of the things that's wild about MAHA on social media is they're also vilifying Pedialyte and Ensure.

So not only do they want you to not do anything that can stop you from getting sick (masking, vaccinating) they also don't want you to effectively treat yourself once you are sick.

I haven't slept. Just can't sleep, though I am exhausted.

Spent the last hour looking at places for sale in North Wales, because it's gorgeous there even if I can't really afford it.

I found a place I'd buy in a heartbeat if I had the funds. It was for sale last time I looked, two years ago.

This poor lad lost his life to the flu. Absolutely heartbreaking. It’s time our governments stopped pushing attendance when children are sick which has led to vast spread of disease and focus on #CleanAir and pro vaccine policies & good mask advice.

My son's voice recently dropped to super resonant low tenor/baritone range, and he's been using it to go around doing the film trailer narrator voice for everyday things, memes, and badly designed signs with multiple ways to read them.

I'm not sad about this. It's fucking hilarious.

A huge part of USPS' "loss" is the bullshit requirement that they fully fund pensions for the next 50 years. A GOP Congress passed that back in the Bush admin.
They have to fully fund pensions for people who haven't even been born yet.
