🧪The #ACTRIMS forum always has a session dedicated to ECRs to give them the opportunity to showcase their research and build their network. Here's our exciting #ACTRIMS2025 young investigator session on emerging concepts in MS, covering basic, translational and clinical science. See you there!

Our current leaders made a pledge to use "common sense" in governing. As a clinician scientist and leaders, it is unclear to us, how cutting the NIH budget that helps millions of ALL #redandblue Americans sensible, justifiable and making ANY sense. @uconnhealth.bsky.social @nature.com

If I were Canadian PM I would immediately:

1. Create a new $15B science fund

2. Offer any credentialed US scientist funding for lab startup and replacement of NIH grants if they move to Canada

3. Immediate permanent residency

4. Citizenship after 2 years

Overnight a science superpower

This can’t be repeated enough. MS is never inactive/not there. It is always vandalising our brains whether it is detectable by current methods or not.

This is the reason to treat it with a highly effective DMT and the full court press of lifestyle interventions as soon as poss.
