Pinch… Paunch! Pension!

Sondheim’s 60 Minutes interview with Diane Sawyer is endlessly inspiring. And this exchange, about rhymes and reference books, is so delightful.

Two nights of 3:45am alarms, blazing full moon lighting the sky like daytime and washing out the light of everything else, comet included. Then two days of post-processing battles, as comet processing is maddeningly tricky.

But I finally pulled it off: here is C/2025 A6 Lemmon. 🔭

At this point, it feels like the White House tweets are being written by a Christian nationalist chatbot.

No actual human could be this cringe.

Good morning, today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #spotted now that can mean when you have been spotted by your subject or a bird that has spots or blotches on it’s plumage. I was #spotted by a European Robin yesterday. Good luck. #birds #photography #EastCoastKin
A European robin stands alert on a patch of mossy ground, facing directly toward the camera. Its vivid orange-red breast and face glow warmly in the sunlight, contrasting with its soft grey and brown plumage. Bright green blades of grass frame the foreground, while the background fades into a dark, softly blurred woodland scene.

The Juliet Rose is not only considered to be one of the rarest flowers in the world, but it's also the rarest rose in the world because it took 15 years for rose breeder David Austin to cultivate the flower in England. Additionally, it cost him a whopping $4.3 million to do so. By Ashley Sophia.
Rosa 'Juliet', also known as the Juliet rose or Sweet Juliet, is a popular English shrub rose developed by David Austin, known for its soft apricot-colored, tightly petaled blooms and mild tea-like fragrance. It is a vigorous, upright shrub that blooms repeatedly from late spring to fall and is excellent for cutting and floral arrangements. The rose thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and is suitable for USDA Hardiness Zones 5a-9b.
