A M7.4 earthquake struck the Philippine subduction zone today, causing damaging shaking across much of Mindanao. Several people have died.

Ok but they aren’t “critics” within the scientific community. They are the actual oil industry and the think tanks that work on their behalf. And “linking” refers to source and impact attribution science which quantifies human influence on extreme weather events. 1/4

I think NSF staff took advantage of not being part of HHS and not having a Trump appointee running the agency. Currently, NSF is led by Brian Stone who was the NSF chief of staff and has been at NSF for 25 years.
