So from what I can gather, the video is taken behind a UIC building at Racine and Congress/Harrison and near the pick up line for a school which is on Loomis. There is no proof as of now that it was targeting the elementary school or parents. The people detained were released.

There’s a viral video reposted by a lot of news people nationally about an abduction at West Loop Elementary School, but there is no school with that name. The video seems to be of ICE detaining people near UIC yesterday. Details matter. We need to try to get them right before sharing.

I feel like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it over and over again: a farmer bailout won’t do much of anything because the market is gone. There will be no incentive to plant next year.

The bailout will help payoff farmer debt to the banks. That’s all.

The original commenter didn't say anything about use of force or state laws, the specifically asked about enforcement of Immergut's TRO's.

I don't think it's intentional, but you're response very much implies that the TRO's are not being enforced. Pritzker has nothing to do with Immergut's TRO's,

Illinois didn't even file their lawsuit until Monday.

Furthermore, the supreme court ruled months ago that lower courts can't apply their orders nationwide.

There's already enough to worry about, we don't need to worry about (or make others worry about) pretend things.

Listen, you're great, I like you a lot, but this is misinformation. Enforcement is not the issue here.

Immergut was only ruling on Portland, because that's where the case is and that's where the plaintiffs are. She can't rule on Chicago, that is a completely separate case, and Chicago and

Oh yes, sorry, I didn't mean to imply he wasn't doing well. But that propaganda machine was brutal to him, and he did not get the thanks that he deserves for all he did/does for our city.
