What the KENNEDY Center used to be…

Remember that time Aretha Franklin performed at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors, paying tribute to Carole King, who co-wrote “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman,” and it brought a tear to Obama’s eye and everyone to their feet? And Carole King’s reaction. Wow.

Sig's refusing to eat the (quite expensive) casserole style food, even when sprinkled with bits of dried salmon treats, but will deign to eat some precooked sausage & the usual bog standard treats. Wondering if he's even going to last the next week & a half when I go on leave 😢 #teorangawhaikurī

Speaking of housing, if anyone in Dunedin knows of a self-contained unit that's:

-close to public transit
-under $500pw
-ideally pet-friendly (no current pet, but I'd like to get a dog)
-quiet, warm and fairly low maintenance

I'm looking, and would love something that works long-term.

A mix of aioli & sriracha, but not on the chips, I'm strictly a dipper. Alternatively, some HP sauce. Does Whitlocks tomato chutney sauce count as ketchup? Because that's my other go-to for chips, after they've been liberally doused in Worcestershire sauce
ketchup isn’t available, what are you putting on your fries?

it was one of the worst parts of Twitter & there was an impulse to not do it back in Bluesky Before Times but now if you tell people "actually this sucks" they'll tell you it's praxis to quote-dunk trash takes & that shitting up the timeline is Good, Actually and "exposes bigots to sunlight" or w/e
Love you all, but I don't know about this trend of quote posting garbage takes to dunk on them. It ends up giving the OP all the attention in the world—and yeah, a lot of it is negative but you know what they say about all publicity being good publicity. This is what sub(posts) were invented for 👀😂
