This is such a white lady middle class article. Imagine marrying someone who you can't see eye to eye with on fundamental moral values.
Pretty much what she should have expected. She married someone who has a fundamentally different set of morals than her. Someone who fundamentally disagrees with her on who should/should not be counted as a human being and given the rights deserving of one.
