I am here to say the same re #Thyroid problems.
Only one hormone ‘allowed’ for Hypothyroidism and research quoted at us that is pitiful and ancient.
My plan was for a Thyroid patient seal of approval for those studies of some use to us and well designed rather than more rationing and ruined lives.

"Well it was nice while it lasted. We had an unprecedented 10 months of low and stable Covid levels in England - but this is now over. We are seeing a definite, significant wave of Covid infections across England."

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

So refreshing to see someone challenge the smug, nasty Reform narrative

I could watch Zack Polanski utterly wreck Zia Yusuf ALL DAY LONG.

I used to love Strictly but after their repeated preference for eejits and those that really can’t dance I have stopped watching.

And there’s me using ‘the December event’ since July when I started work for this year.

Morning Arm-Wap and all. 3 hrs late must be a record but after seeing beer o’clock I realised my symptoms were settled and had just taken the relevant drugs so tried a thimblefull of my aged damson gin. It went very well and best/longest sleep in months 😄
Have a restful day and may experiments work

Johnson the absolute arse that was forever photographed wearing what looked like someones underwear on his face (rarely covering both nose and mouth) rather than a functioning mask.
And then the parties.

I wish I could join you - cheers!

Try Pharmadoctor. Flu jab is £20 and Covid jab is £90. Still a lot but a bit cheaper than Boots

Flu jab £21.95 at Boots, Covid jab £98.95.

And yet this year they are insisting on lowering out of work benefits to those too ill to work. Saying more people need to be in work and stay there is 100% incompatible with this vaccine policy and the changes they want in the NHS, Adult Social Care and ATW.

After a long pause, I've just done another England Covid & NHS update as we head into the autumn/winter season.

TLDR: we're in a significant Covid wave now, the NHS is stretched, get boosted if you're eligible.

Also, if you're "in bed with flu", it's almost certainly Covid.

Re benefit cuts, did you know that the Household Support Fund has been cut, meaning those who are really struggling will get half what they did last year or nothing, depending on where they live. The below/attached is taken from an email sent to my local councillor. 1/

MY GP, in refusing told me to pay to go private. Labour is gambling with peoples lives, betting that most who contract and/or die from Covid will do so at home, so no hospital costs and £££ saved by drastically cutting the number of vaccinations given to the immunocompromised. Labour don’t care…

I can't understand why it's not routinely offered along with the seasonal flu jab? All that work to get a vaccine out quickly and they've just abandoned it!

Signed, someone suffering right now from what is probably Covid

Latest England COVID-19 hospital bed occupancy up.
COVID-19 positive tests up.
COVID-19 deaths up.
COVID-19 cases up.
Data source @ukhsa.bsky.social
Why?
Limited vaccine eligibility, waning immunity, lower priority by leaders, mixing in poorly ventilated, cramped spaces. Scant use of face coverings.

Need a favour, Devon pals.

Our son is studying A levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and is looking for a local science, research or engineering related work experience placement for a week at the end of this term.

Any suggestions of organisations or companies he can approach most welcome.

Hospitals are bringing masks back because Covid never left!

But we:

❌ Ignore Covid risks
❌ Don’t clean the air
❌ Deny vaccines to most Clinically Vulnerable
❌ Treat masking as “personal choice” (even HCWs)

It isn’t Living with Covid
It feels like neglect
#KeepCovidBoosters
We have re-introduced mask wearing in some areas

Please wear a mask where you see this poster

Thank you

Why do we have so much stuff but don't meet needs? youtu.be/sPMKp1MkAiA?...
John Kenneth Galbraith’s The Affluent Society asked a question that still matters: how can we live with private luxury alongside public squalor?

Finally my wheelchair is ready for the darker months.
Everbeam lights as recommended by Sarah below are great for the back bar together with a set of silver wraps. Extra wraps for the bag on my lap, arm rests and clothing if needed. The lower section of the frame has stick on black versions.
Thanks.

For interest here is my tiny EeZeeGo folding wheelchair that I want to make more visible, mainly to drivers.
I will work on a florescent back to the chair but want to know what others have used successfully.
Very small framed electric wheelchair: small front and back wheels with an open framework. All black wheelchair with limited options for attaching lamps reflective items. Side view.
