I have been warning for years that once insurance companies had a reason to stop denying hormones to trans folks, they’d be coming for the menopausal among us next. We all rise or fall together.
My insurance company just sent me a letter saying they will stop covering two of my prescriptions because they are ‘not medically necessary’. Which ones?
1. My testosterone, because I am not a man
2. My menopause meds for hot flashes because, after all, women should just deal with it.

could be wrong but I think people took bluesky not having an algorithm to mean you can just post whenever and run and accumulate however many likes you believe you deserve

Re-upping this in case someone needs to hear it going into the weekend and New Years. You aren’t alone— this is the hardest time of the year for so many people, and there’s *nothing* wrong with you if you’re one of them.
The next few days are going to be hard. The fear is palpable. So please, if you’re at all wondering: I wish you could see how much the world needs you. Right now, all that matters is getting to morning.
