Perfect example of the damage caused by Brexit.

Nobody has ever claimed that Brexit makes growth impossible.

But it has provably harmed the UK's prospects compared to other advanced economies.

And that damage is ongoing. It's not a one-and-done event.

A woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK...

78% are murdered by a partner/ex

Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this

Not once have I heard them back measures to protect women’s safety

In fact, they voted against them...

'It is not true that immigrants are the root cause of the NHS’s problems. Evidence shows that NHS pressures stem from years of constrained government funding and rising demand from an aging population'

Anti-migrant policies could spell the end of the NHS
Migrants aren't responsible for the problems in the NHS.

No one quite deserves to be made to look such a fool as Matt Goodwin. This is truly heartening.
My goodness Matt Goodwin comes across as an obnoxious hateful one-trick pony. Glad much of the #bbcqt audience saw through his schtick and agree.

A ‘manufactured panic’

Only a quarter of people think immigration is an important issue locally. Yet it’s all Reform & Farage, and some Tories bleat on about because it’s all they’ve got
'Manufactured panic': Immigration not near top of most people's concerns, poll suggests
The cost of living, health, crime, and housing are much higher on people's lists of personal worries, a YouGov survey has suggested.

It's only one poll, and within the margin of error, but it's put the Greens ahead of both Labour and the Tories. Something very significant is happening in the British political landscape. The two party system is over. Which means we urgently need PR.

The fall of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is no fall at all.

It comes ELEVEN years too late and has only happened as a damage limitation exercise.

We need to start having a grown up conversation about monarchy... and I'm starting it here.

I've had enough. The UK is a rich country, so why are our schools falling apart, our hospitals understaffed and millions struggling to get by?

The 0.1% and corporations are robbing us blind.

3 things Starmer could do instead of camps in old barracks that would actually WORK👇

1. Create safe, regulated routes to apply for asylum in the UK

2. Let asylum seekers WORK & support themselves

3. Fast track status for people from obviously unsafe countries
