I was brought up to believe that the police were there to help. And because of my white privilege I have believed that for a long time. But tonight my 19yo son was pepper sprayed for taking part in a peaceful protest. My position may be changing. #FreePalestine.

Honestly, wasn’t going to attend the Melbourne rally. Not much of a protest attending type. But just watched Herzog dismiss a question about 70’000 dead people by saying “we didn’t start it”. I’ll be going along now. Fuck him & the Israeli government & its murderous troops.
