Wife, girl dog mom of 3: Maizie, Roo, & Jelly. Writer of plays, novels & reader of pretty much anything. Former lawyer, teacher, & theatrical director. She/her. I’m going to use punctuation, clearly.
For some of us, knowing that our behavior could land us in jail, might lead us to make a change. Instead, this yahoo is: “Y’all, be sure to save me from people who want my bad choices to have consequences.”
Seems to me this is a pathetic exhortation but an air-tight confession of guilt
Steve Bannon: "If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included."

Look, I'm sure that Nolan's adaptation of "The Odyssey" will be fun, but I highly doubt it will be as good as the original.

If Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Accurate about a Pathological Liar and Convicted Felon who Incited an Insurrection, tried to Steal a Fair Election and is Covering up Sex Crimes against Children, shouldn't his Disgraceful Presidency be terminated? I say, YES!

So one of the kids I taught in high school who’s a grown up now, sent me a text to let me know he’s finally watching Deadwood. And Calamity Jane made him think of me. This a huge compliment to me and absolutely the perfect comment on our friendship.

In case it’s unclear: this is not true.

Separation of Church and State was a big thing for the founders of this country. They were quite specific about it. It’s one of my favorite things and I was loud about it all through school.

So no. It is not now, nor has it ever been, a Christian nation.

The degree to which they want everyone but wealthy white men - the kind of men Epstein catered to - to suffer is, over and over and over, impossible for decent people to comprehend.

That this small percent of the population has the power to impose suffering and seem to enjoy it.

That. Is. Evil.

Asked by Erika Kirk what her advice to young men is, Nicki Minaj says, “don’t be like [Gavin] Newscum.”

Nicki then refers to Trump as “our handsome, dashing president.”

She then referred to JD Vance as “an assassin,” and remembered whom she was on stage with.

Erika Kirk then assures her it’s fine

Here's what's up: I have multiple respiratory diseases. I don't need another one.

And y'all gave up before we could reach herd immunity so this disabled woman stays home and masks obsessively.

I'm not the weirdo. I'm the one behaving rationally.

Guess who also doesn't get the regular flu.
It’s not a refusal to re-enter society.

It’s not shaping your life around Covid avoidance.

It’s adaptation. It’s a desire to protect health. It’s being willing to accept that things change, and masking & clean air are the way forward.

Mass death & disability is not normal

Exactly. Yes. Just as we have twice before. Y’all could avoid that embarrassment by removing him yourselves for health reasons. Because we all know he’s utterly unfit.
Let’s go.

Dementia and cognitive decline are sad and difficult for the sufferer and the people who love them. This we know. But we get to expect more from the President.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Beyond parody.

If Speaker Johnson refuses to bring forth the vote, he’s telling the American people loud and clear that rising health care costs are acceptable to him.

I had one of my dogs for 16 1/2 years, from a year or so after college. My whole adult life, in other words, when he passed. He was with me when I met my husband and at our wedding. He was my guy. There’s no such thing as just a dog. Or just a cat. Or just a bird.
I lost my lovebird 2 years ago (he passed October, 2023). I had him for 18 years through some of the most formative years of my life; I got him after I graduated college. It still hurts. I can't have a pet under my current lease, but I don't know how I could possibly replace him!
