Greggs Vegan Festive Bake

Taste ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (tastes like stuffing & gravy)

Texture ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (crispy, flakey, but rather...gloopy)

Appearance ⭐ (do not look at the disconcerting filling)

I learned about a series of deaths in Canada in the 90s/00s from a true crime podcast. It's one of those things that stays with you. The racism, the cruelty, and what happens when some people who don't see others as fully human get a little bit of power.

This "wrapped" trend is getting out of hand.

I've already been made aware i buy too many lattes (bank app), listen to too much true crime (podcast app) and obsessively listen to the cure (music app) so what's next

Asda telling me how many bourbon biscuits I've eaten?

The WI and Girlguiding have been pressured to exclude trans women – yet the law is clear as mud | Jess O’Thomson
Since the supreme court decision, organisations have faced lobbying and legal threats. But trans people are protected by discrimination law too, says Jess O’Thomson of the Good Law Project

I haven't finished reading the judgement myself yet but 2 things I've noticed:

1) as always, the parts "won" by the "gender critical" claimant were about processes followed unfairly, not an endorsement of GC views

2) the judge's comments suggest the EHRC interim guidance incorrectly interprets FWS
Mini thread on the ET decision in Peggie

Top line: It says exactly what we have been saying for months. The decision of the Supreme Court was not to turn the Equality Act 2010 into a nationwide bathroom ban - regardless of how anti-trans organisations have sought to misrepresent the law.

There's almost certainly trans women that have been in the WI longer than JKR has been alive and she has the audacity to "protect women" by preventing 80 year old women from making fucking jam with her friends

This article is awful, but the 78 year old trans woman broke my heart. She knew as a teen she was trans. She was subjected to such cruelty, lived though so many law changes, the GRA, the Equality Act and now the awful regression we're seeing on trans acceptance :(

I was reminded of this today and it didn't get enough appreciation at the time for something that has permanently changed both "see it say it sorted" and the act of seeing a horse for me ever since
See it (a horse)
Say it ("horse!")
Sorted (everyone else now has the opportunity to behold the horse)

Hey, if you're a queer and/or trans person and you want some petty revenge at the gathering of shitty right-wing family members: love yourself.

If you love yourself, you can cause them WAY more discomfort than they cause you. Use your power for evil. Be the supervillain who ruined Thanksgiving >:3

At least it's honest, right? Intrusive questioning of women who don't conform to norms about how they should look, and women then being banned if they tell their inquisitor to mind his own sodding business, has always been the logical end point for the patriarchal project that is TERFdom.
