Pinned
This is a good time to finally do a pinned post ^.^

I'm Alioth <3 I'm a dadfox, and I'm an ABDL-positive furry artist who does art full-time.

If you want art from me, check out my website: www.ursamajorartworks.com

I'm also on SubscribeStar with stickers and YCHs: subscribestar.adult/aliothfox
We did this on our big ABDL Telegram group quite some time ago, and we saw a lot of other groups doing the same thing.

It's nice to see @furaffinity.net following suit.

Quit Twitter. It's really not worth it. You don't need it.
**APPLAUSE** @furaffinity.net! Announcement posted in their Discord server: "..any posts originating from Twitter/X will be blacklisted from our community via auto-mod."

Thank you FA for standing up against generative AI and supporting real artists! #furry #furryart

You can tell everything you need to know about someone by how they treat waitstaff, how they treat hotel housekeepers, and how they treat Koroks in Tears of the Kingdom.

Heh. With all of the blatant racism from the government in the crackdowns, I was wondering how long it would take for the Black Panthers to show up.

I can't say I'm surprised to see them. I can't say I'm sad about it either.

Extremely dishonest headline: what they mean is that Wikipedia charges data companies for scraping the website. It already does this for Google it is just further expanding this.

Quite. Everyone panicking about the Wikipedia “AI deal”: this is just making the AI bros pay for what they’ve been stealing until now (and presumably hammering the Wikipedia servers in the process).
With “Wikimedia Enterprise”, AI companies have to use (and pay for) dedicated APIs to scrape data, which helps to limit the strain on Wikimedia servers. (See eg arstechnica.com/information-...) This is a good thing for Wikimedia and for its readers.

Neither is true. The first isn’t even really possible without community buy-in, and so far the English Wikipedia community has been extremely resistant to AI or AI-assisted editing. As for the latter, all Wikimedia content has always been free, and was already widely used for AI training.

I think people are erroneously interpreting the headline to mean that the Wikimedia Foundation is embracing AI for purposes like generating encyclopedia content, or are providing AI companies with more training data than they were already scraping.

Sure. AI companies have ALWAYS been training their models on Wikipedia content, which under the free and open access model is available to anyone — including AI companies. Agreements like these require AI companies to limit and offset the strain they place on Wikimedia infrastructure.
Hoping that @molly.wiki can help explain.

Machine Learning is not synonymous with genAI
Algorithm is not synonymous with genAI

I just want to make something explicitly clear as a publisher.

If you are using generative AI, we will not work with you.

No AI art, writing, brainstorming, nothing.

I won't entertain any debate or attempts to get us to change this policy.
Since it apparently must be said again:

The use of Generative AI at any point in the composition of a piece of writing does mean, according to our policies, that it is ineligible to be read on The Voice of Dog.

"Just for research" is not an acceptable excuse.

René Descartes walks into a bar. The bartender asks if he would like something to drink.

He replies "I think not." He disappears in a cloud of mist.

Hot take? More of you need to be uncomfortable. Insanely so. More of you need to be so deliriously uncomfortable that you're forced to process and manage your emotions so you learn healthy coping skills.

I personally feel like my greatest strength is consistency. I put out 100+ YCHs and Telegram stickers every month, I communicate with my customers, and my turnaround is consistent and trustworthy. I don't promise deadlines I can't meet (and if things DO come up that prevent it, I communicate).
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.

I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at.

No self deprecation, just what you think you're the strongest at

Is anyone brave eniough? 👀

I challenge you to name a single furry convention - literally any one - that doesn't have at least one babyfur on its staff. (You can't; it doesn't exist.)
Most of your favorite fursuiters wear diapers.

It’s 2026. If you’re shocked by age play, you haven’t been adult enough for long enough. Log off and try again when you’re more mature and can handle adults being adults with other adults.
