alternately, anyone want to collaborate on a project providing such a thing? i would just hate to point people to squarespace type stuff. and while i like ghost i think the price is probably high if you're unemployed. jekyll, hugo, et al on github pages is probably too much for most?

are any platforms making it easy for journalists to make portfolio sites these days? maybe even something like 1password's free for journalists tier? would love if it's open source and free or cheaper than $10/mo.

i'm in the same boat. i was ranting to my wife yesterday like, how is every single mainstream media outlet reporting on farage's plans like they are REAL? it's just mind boggling. i know this is how manufacturing consent works but it's like ... the election is in 4 years! he has no actual power!
