Well, it looks like some smart leaks from European intelligence services?

Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.

The truth is that the sentence wasn’t inaccurate – it was removed because of legal fears. And that’s exactly the concern my lecture raises: when institutions start censoring themselves out of fear of those in power. /3

The BBC's has responded in The Guardian that this was a routine editorial decision, but also that it was made on legal advice. Those two explanations don’t fit together. /1
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

So either Trump spoke to Bolsonaro about plotting to escape to the US right before the latter got caught trying to saw off his ankle monitor, or Trump imagined a conversation he didn’t have. Both scenarios are incredibly dark
An amazing new Trump controversy, Part II of II:

- Saturday afternoon: Trump says he spoke to Bolsonaro the night before and planned to see him “in the very near future”

- Monday afternoon: The Trump White House isn’t sure whether Trump actually had the conversation he referenced two days earlier

🇺🇸🇪🇺🇺🇦 Zelensky: USA is very active and Europe is very active, as are our other partners. Everyone has the same agenda, and only in Moscow does war against Ukraine remain their first priority.

Strikes like today confirm this. It is extremely important for all of us not to forget the real situation.

This is quite shocking... Trump threats work and the media starts censoring themselves....
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.
