The birdsong here is often all you can hear. The downside to that is that you can hear a pin drop miles away, and then someone 'harmlessly' using a strimmer in the next village can be really intrusive. 🙃
I was considering moving somewhere where there was a waterfall, or the sea, for the noise floor.

Why isn't this news getting more attention? An attack was being planned on the Prime Minister of a European country!

A suspected terrorist cell was dismantled by Belgium's federal prosecutor's office on Thursday, believed to have been planning an attack on Prime Minister Bart De Wever.

If only I knew more about raising birds. Next time I'll do better, and I'm sure there will be one, living where I do. I narrowly missed saving three de-nested carrion crow chicks a few years back after a storm. I found them just too late to save them.

One of the replies was what I think was a scam account asking for you to DM your details so they can look at your problem. It was probably triggered by the words 'air' and 'france', in your post.
