Really this misses the whole point. Games are art and art should have depth. That doesn't necessarily correlate to game length or graphics quality.

BTW if you want to check out more inspiration for this era go back and look through the old 2000 WOTC Star Wars RPG. Acolyte was directly inspired by it.

This manuscript is also very interesting because it paints a much different portrait of what Ottoman soldiers looked like in this period, with lots of Western European export armor that matches the archaeology.
