Whenever any whiff of protesting hits the air it’s so hard for democratic officials to say “it is actually your right as an American to protest what is an obvious, heinous act. It is natural that we would seek community when a tragedy occurs. Wear layers & stay hydrated & look out for one another.”

i’m continually struck by the joy zohran has brought to this election and the absolute venom with which it’s been met.
For New Yorkers who work the night shift, it can be nearly impossible to participate in political life of our city.
